The fourth Edition of BiesseInside was a great Success

BIESSEiNSIDE confirmed the success of previous editions and exceeded expectations given the continuing economic uncertainty. This is a fantastic result, which has only been achieved thanks to your collaboration and teamwork!

Attendance was exceptional and during the three days of the event from 8 – 10 October there were visitors from Italy, other European countries, Asia, the Middle East and South America, with a 20% increase in numbers compared to October 2008.

All the technological innovations presented during the event were greatly appreciated by our clients and generated a surprising number of negotiations and orders that were more than satisfying as they were made despite the continuing unfavourable economic environment.

Matrix exceeded the success of Ligna and fully meets the demands of those clients needing to manage increasingly small unit numbers and with zero time for setting up. Matrix has proved to be one of the best technological solutions on the market, offering flexibility for small lots and with line boring on both sides of the panel.
Rover G excited considerable interest for working panels in Nesting mode; it truly is a factory in a single machine. Clients were shown that Rover G has all the technical and operating features required by the market.
The interest shown at the Ligna exhibition for Stream B1 MDS was confirmed; it responds to the needs of those clients looking for the perfect combination of edgebanding and squaring. Moreover, clients recognised the more advantageous price/quality ratio of this solution compared to similar solutions offered by competitors.
With Cinetic in the Digipac Sistemi, clients greatly appreciated the diversified product range of BIESSE and the extension of the services that it offers. Digipac Sistemi technologies provided a real business opportunity for the entire sales and distribution network also thanks to the all-embracing solutions offered by the packaging sector.
The interest in the new perfect combination of the WN750 series panel sizer and the B-STOCKER automatic storing system was even greater than expected. This new integrated solution is capable of satisfying the growing number of market requests for logistics-integrated machines.

During the days that were totally dedicated to new production technologies for windows and doors, the new WINLINE range with Uniprof and Rover C WMS met with great success with visitors. The Rover C WMS in particular met with approval that exceeded expectations as it responded perfectly to the requirements of the target clients. The results were exactly in line with the commercial strategy of Biesse: to take advantage of a real business opportunity and become the leader in Europe for the production of doors and windows within the next three years.

There was also record attendance at the seminars on design and trends in furnishing and fittings. The choice of topics and the participation of FederLegno Arredo and the ift Rosenheim University was greatly appreciated and welcomed by visitors that filled the Convention Hall on all three occasions.

Lastly, visits to the KAIZEN lines were highly successful and confirm that clients continue to show great interest in Lean Manufacturing, and in the continuing efficiency improvements of the BIESSE manufacturing systems.
